The Classic has a two layer gown. The first gown is a sumptuous pearly white 100% silk satin, over which falls the 100% silk taffeta in the palest, silvery iridescent seashell pink. The pearly white satin lines the nest and covers the hand –tufted silk bumper, as well as the hand stuffed pillow, and the European fitted sheet for a perfectly coordinated and luxurious finish to the worlds finest bassinet. The full cut of the silk taffeta gown, the gathered pleats, and the whimsical beauty of a simple bow and tassel make this design very special. The Classic Bassinet is baby in every way!

Under the gown of The Classic is a signature slip. The slip is two layers – a 100% pure cotton starched crinoline layer and a 100% China silk over slip- all underneath the satin and silk taffeta gowns. It is attached separately to the bassinet with ribbons.

The foundation of The Classic is the bassinet itself- the most finely finished handmade wooden trolley and the finest hand- woven willow basket available in the world today. The basket is padded and lined with 100% pure cotton quilting for an extra layer of protection for your baby. The high-density foam mattress is covered with a cotton- backed vinyl for ease of care and durability. The mattress is also covered in removable 100% cotton quilting that matches the basket lining.
